Slice and bake chocolate chip cookies
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla
- salt
- chopped nuts
- baking soda
- margarine, softened
- plus 2 Tbsp - 1 c
- chocolate morsels - 3 c
- plus 6 Tbsp - 3 c
How to make slice and bake chocolate chip cookies:
Combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. In a large bowl, combine margarine, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla; beat until creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture; mix well. Stir in chocolate morsels and nuts. Divide dough into quarters. On waxed paper, shape each quarter into a 9-inch roll. Roll in the waxed paper. Refrigerate up to 1 week or freeze up to 8 weeks.To bake, preheat oven to 375°. Cut each roll into 1-inch slices. Cut each slice into 4 pieces. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake 8 to 10 minutes. Total recipe makes 12 dozen.
