Skillet-sticky chicken



  • water - 1/4 c
  • oil - 2 Tbsp
  • chicken, cut up - 2 to
  • barbecue sauce or ketchup - 1/4 c
  • apricot or peach preserves - 1/2 c

How to make skillet-sticky chicken:

In a 10-inch skillet over medium heat in hot oil, cook chicken pieces until browned on all sides. Pour off fat. In small bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Stir into skillet. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer 30 minutes until chicken is tender, stirring occasionally. Makes 4 servings.
