Simple salisbury steak
Ingredients/Components
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- finely chopped onions - 1/4 c
- sliced mushrooms - 1/2 c
- dry bread crumbs - 1/3 c
- hamburg - 1 lb
- can cream of mushroom soup, divided - 1 item
How to make simple salisbury steak:
In bowl mix 1/4 cup of the soup, hamburg and bread crumbs, egg and onion. Shape into 6 patties. In skillet over medium-high heat, cook patties until browned on both sides. Spoon off fat. Stir in remaining soup and mushrooms. Return patties to skillet. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 20 minutes or until done.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Main dish, Beef.
