Simple salisbury steak
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- finely chopped onion - 1/4 c
- sliced mushrooms
- dry bread crumbs - 1/3 c
How to make simple salisbury steak:
In a bowl, mix well 1/4 cup of soup, beef, bread crumbs, egg and onion. Shape firmly into patties. In skillet over medium-high heat, cook patties until brown on both sides. Remove patties. Pour off fat. Stir in remaining soup and mushrooms. Return patties to skillet. Reduce heat to low. Cover. Simmer for 20 minutes or until done.
