Simple salisbury steak
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/3 tsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- finely chopped onion - 1/4 c
- dry bread crumbs - 1/3 c
- can sliced mushrooms, drained of most liquid - 1 oz
How to make simple salisbury steak:
In a bowl, mix thoroughly 1/4 cup soup, beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion and salt. Shape firmly into 6 patties. In skillet over medium heat, cook patties until brown on both sides. Spoon off fat. Stir in remaining soup and mushrooms. Reduce heat to low. Cover and cook 20 minutes or until done.
