Shrimp supreme
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- butter - 1/4 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/4 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- can evaporated milk - 1 item
- cooked, cleaned shrimp - 4 c
- pinch of curry powder - 1 item
- Tabasco dash or two - 1 item
- dry or instant onion - 1 tsp
- cayenne dash or two - 1 item
How to make shrimp supreme:
Melt butter in saucepan; saute celery, pepper and onion for about 5 minutes. Add flour, salt, curry powder, cayenne, Worcestershire and Tabasco; mix well. Add evaporated milk and cook, stirring constantly, until smooth and thick. Remove from heat and add shrimp. Pour into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole and top with Parmesan and bake in preheated oven at 425° for 20 to 25 minutes. Serve with rice.Recipe categories: Main dish, Shellfish, Shrimp.
