Shrimp steamed in beer
Ingredients/Components
- stick butter, melted - 1 item
- cloves garlic, finely chopped - 2 item
- can beer - 1 oz
- leaves Boston lettuce - 8 item
- shrimp in shell - 3 lb
How to make shrimp steamed in beer:
Wash shrimp. In large steamer, layer shrimp and lettuce. Pour beer over top. Cover and heat to boiling. Steam shrimp 15 to 20 minutes or until pink. Drain shrimp, reserving 1/4 cup liquid.In small bowl, combine the reserved liquid, melted butter and garlic. Arrange shrimp and lettuce on platter and serve with butter sauce.
