Ingredients/Components
- cream cheese - 2 (8
- can tomato soup - 1 item
- chopped celery - 1/2 3/4
- small chopped green pepper - 1 item
- envelopes Knox unflavored gelatine - 2 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- small chopped onion - 1 item
- water - 1/3 c
- to 3 cans tiny shrimp - 2 item
- mayonnaise - 1 c
How to make shrimp spread:
Heat cream cheese and soup in top of double boiler until well blended. Dissolve Knox gelatine in water and add with mayonnaise to somewhat cooled soup mixture. Add to remaining ingredients and pour into oiled molds. (Makes 1 large and 1 smaller mold.)To remove from mold, set in sink and fill to edge with hot water for 5 minutes or so.
