  • butter, melted - 1 c
  • paprika - 1/2 tsp
  • cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
  • soft bread crumbs - 2 c
  • chopped parsley - 1/3 c
  • dash of cayenne - 1 item
  • cooking sherry - 2/3 c
  • cleaned, cooked shrimp 4 lb - 5 6

How to make shrimp de jonghe:

To melted butter, add garlic, parsley, paprika, cayenne and cooking sherry. Mix. Add bread crumbs and toss. Place shrimp in baking dish. Spoon the butter mixture over. Bake in a slow oven (325°) for 20 to 25 minutes or until crumbs brown. Sprinkle with additional chopped parsley before serving. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
