Shrimp de jonghe
Ingredients/Components
- butter, melted - 1 c
- paprika - 1/2 tsp
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- soft bread crumbs - 2 c
- chopped parsley - 1/3 c
- dash of cayenne - 1 item
- cooking sherry - 2/3 c
- cleaned, cooked shrimp 4 lb - 5 6
How to make shrimp de jonghe:
To melted butter, add garlic, parsley, paprika, cayenne and cooking sherry. Mix. Add bread crumbs and toss. Place shrimp in baking dish. Spoon the butter mixture over. Bake in a slow oven (325°) for 20 to 25 minutes or until crumbs brown. Sprinkle with additional chopped parsley before serving. Makes 6 to 8 servings.Recipe categories: Main dish, Shellfish, Shrimp.
