Shrimp creole
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 6 Tbsp
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- oil - 1 Tbsp
- hot water
- can tomato sauce - 16 oz
- onion, chopped - 1 c
- cloves garlic, chopped - 6 item
- celery, chopped - 1 c
- bay leaves - 4 item
- shrimp - 3 lb
- bell pepper, chopped - 1 c
- green onion, chopped - 1/2 c
How to make shrimp creole:
In heavy pot, melt butter. Add oil and saute all seasonings until done. Add flour and blend well. Add tomato sauce, hot water and sugar. Cook over medium heat approximately 30 minutes. Add shrimp and cook another 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp.
