Shrimp creole
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- water - 3 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- paprika - 1 tsp
- bay leaf - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 2 c
- green pepper, chopped - 1 c
- celery, chopped - 1 c
- cayenne pepper - 1/2 tsp
- garlic, minced - 2 tsp
- peeled shrimp - 3 lb
- whole tomatoes - 2 c
How to make shrimp creole:
Heat oil and saute pepper, onion, celery and garlic. Add tomatoes, water and seasonings. Simmer 15 minutes. Add shrimp and simmer 15 minutes more. Add cornstarch. Serve on rice.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp.
