Shrimp creole
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- cornstarch - 1 tsp
- salad oil - 3 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- chili powder - 1/2 1
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- garlic clove, minced - 1 item
- diced celery - 1/2 c
- medium onion, minced - 1 item
- dash of Tabasco sauce - 1 item
- can seasoned tomato sauce - 1 oz
- can or 2 c - 1 lb
- cleaned cooked shrimp - 1 lb
How to make shrimp creole:
Cook and stir onion, celery, green pepper and garlic in oil until tender, not brown. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and seasoning. Simmer, uncovered, 45 minutes. Cook over low heat. Mix cornstarch with 2 teaspoons water. Stir into sauce. Add shrimp. CovRecipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp.
