Shrimp creole
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- catsup - 1 c
- bay leaf - 1/2 tsp
- cayenne - 1/2 tsp
- sliced celery - 1/2 c
- rice, cooked - 3 c
- shrimp
- green pepper, cut fine - 1 item
- onion, peeled and sliced - 1 item
- chopped tomatoes canned - 2 c
How to make shrimp creole:
Melt butter in heavy skillet. Mix in all vegetables. Add all seasonings, then shrimp. Stir constantly. Cook on low heat for approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour. Serve over fluffy rice.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp.
