Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • catsup - 1 c
  • bay leaf - 1/2 tsp
  • cayenne - 1/2 tsp
  • sliced celery - 1/2 c
  • rice, cooked - 3 c
  • shrimp
  • green pepper, cut fine - 1 item
  • onion, peeled and sliced - 1 item
  • chopped tomatoes canned - 2 c

How to make shrimp creole:

Melt butter in heavy skillet. Mix in all vegetables. Add all seasonings, then shrimp. Stir constantly. Cook on low heat for approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour. Serve over fluffy rice.
