  • little shrimp - 1 lb
  • slices bacon - 6 item
  • sliced onion - 1 c
  • sliced celery - 1 c
  • green peppers - 1 c
  • clove garlic, minced - 1 item
  • can stewed tomatoes - 1 oz
  • raw tomatoes medium - 2 item
  • liquid smoke - 1/8 tsp
  • chicken broth - 1 c
  • vinegar - 1 Tbsp
  • sugar - 2 tsp
  • whole bay leaf - 1 item
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • cooked peas - 1 c
  • precooked rice

How to make shrimp creole:

Fry bacon in skillet. Drain fat, except 1 tablespoon. Crumble bacon. Add onion, celery, green peppers, garlic, tomatoes, liquid smoke, chicken broth, vinegar, sugar, bay leaf, pepper, peas and shrimp. Cook over medium heat until shrimp is done. Put over rice and eat.
