Shrimp creole
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt
- salad oil - 3 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- parsley flakes - 1/4 c
- can stewed tomatoes - 1 oz
- cans tomato sauce - 2 oz
- minced garlic - 1/2 tsp
- shrimp - 1 lb
- dash of red pepper - 1 item
- cornstarch add water - 1 tsp
How to make shrimp creole:
Cook onions in hot oil until tender. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and all seasonings. Simmer uncovered for 45 minutes. Add shrimp. Simmer again for 15 minutes. Remove from heat. Serve over rice. You may cover while simmering last 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp.
