Ingredients/Components

  • butter or margarine - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • chopped celery - 1 c
  • chopped onions - 2 item
  • clove garlic - 1 item
  • dash of Tabasco sauce - 1 item
  • rice, cooked - 5 c
  • rosemary - 1/8 tsp
  • chopped bell pepper - 1 c
  • canned tomatoes - 4 c
  • cooked, deveined shrimp - 3 lb

How to make shrimp creole:

Melt margarine. Saute onions, celery, pepper and garlic. Add spices. Add tomatoes. Simmer 15 minutes. Add shrimp. Heat thoroughly. Serve on hot rice. Serves 12. Good with a tossed salad.
