Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • butter - 3 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1/4 tsp
  • bay leaf - 1 item
  • minced onion - 1/4 c
  • diced celery - 1/2 c
  • can tomatoes - 1 oz
  • diced bell pepper - 1/4 c
  • Minute rice, uncooked
  • shrimp, cleaned and deveined - 3/4 lb

How to make shrimp creole:

Drain tomatoes, reserving liquid. Add water to liquid to make 1 1/3 cups. Saute celery, pepper and onion in butter. Add shrimp, cook until pink. Add measured liquid, tomatoes, sugar, salt, pepper, bay leaf and Worcestershire sauce. Cover and simmer 3
