Shrimp creole
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/4 tsp
- bay leaf - 1 item
- minced onion - 1/4 c
- diced celery - 1/2 c
- can tomatoes - 1 oz
- diced bell pepper - 1/4 c
- Minute rice, uncooked
- shrimp, cleaned and deveined - 3/4 lb
How to make shrimp creole:
Drain tomatoes, reserving liquid. Add water to liquid to make 1 1/3 cups. Saute celery, pepper and onion in butter. Add shrimp, cook until pink. Add measured liquid, tomatoes, sugar, salt, pepper, bay leaf and Worcestershire sauce. Cover and simmer 3Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp.
