Shrimp butter
Ingredients/Components
- mayonnaise - 4 Tbsp
- minced onion - 1 Tbsp
- juice of 1 lemon
- cream cheese, softened - 8 oz
- 1/2 sticks margarine, softened - 1 item
- cans shrimp, drained or 1/2 lb - 2 oz
- drop of red food coloring for color - 1 item
How to make shrimp butter:
Mix all ingredients together. Beat until light and fluffy. Chill. Let return to room temperature and serve on Melba toast, rye crackers or bread. Makes about 1 quart and freezes nicely.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp.
