Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1 c
- brown sugar - 2/3 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- corn syrup - 3/4 c
- molasses - 1/4 c
- hot water - 1 c
- 9-inch pie crust, unbaked - 1 item
How to make shoo-fly pie:
In a bowl, mix together the corn syrup, molasses, water, soda and egg. Reserve about half of this mixture. To the rest, add the flour, butter and brown sugar. Mix well and pour into pie crust.
