Ingredients/Components
- soy sauce - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- uncooked rice - 1 c
- can mushroom soup - 1 item
- can mushrooms optional - 1 item
- large can chow mein noodles - 1 item
How to make shanghai casserole:
Season and brown meat in skillet; drain. Cook rice (1 cup rice-2 cups water). Bring to boil, turn to low, cover and cook 20 minutes; do not rinse. Mix soup, mushrooms and vegetables together with meat and rice. Add soy sauce to taste. Put in a 9 x 13Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Main dish, Casseroles.
