Seven minute frosting

Ingredients/Components

• sugar
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• cold water - 1/3 c
• egg whites - 2 item
• dash of salt - 1 item
• light corn syrup or 1/4 tsp

How to make seven minute frosting:

Put all ingredients, except vanilla in double boiler. Beat 1 minute with electric mixer or rotary beater. Cook over boiling water, beating constantly with either beater until mixture forms peaks, about 7 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Beat until spreading consistency. Will frost tops and sides of two 9-inch layers or one 10-inch tube cake.
