Ingredients/Components
- Parmesan cheese - 1 c
- can peas, drained - 1 oz
- Bermuda onion, chopped - 1 item
- to 10 slices bacon, crumbled - 6 item
- head iceberg lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces - 1 item
- to 4 stalks celery, sliced or chopped - 3 item
- mayonnaise spread to cover and seal the first four layers - 1 2
How to make seven-layer salad:
In a large bowl, layer the following: lettuce, peas, celery, onion and mayonnaise. Cover mayonnaise with Parmesan cheese. Top with bacon. Cover and refrigerate approximately 8 hours prior to serving. Serves 8 to 10.Recipe categories: Holiday, Salads, Vegetables.
