  • sugar - 1 Tbsp
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • vegetable oil - 1/3 c
  • soy sauce - 1/2 c
  • sesame seed - 2 Tbsp
  • white wine - 1 Tbsp
  • crushed red pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • grated fresh ginger - 1 tsp
  • bunch green onions - 1 item
  • julienned carrots - 1 c
  • whole boned and skinned chicken breast - 1 item
  • sugar snaps, snow peas or asparagus tips - 1 c

How to make sesame pasta salad:

Prepare fresh or dry pasta (e.g. linguine). Cut chicken in bite-size pieces and saute. Prepare snow peas, sugar snaps or asparagus tips (just blanch crisp-tender). Cut onions, diagonally, into 1-inch pieces.

Put sesame seed into dry skillet. Toast until golden. Add soy sauce, ginger, sugar, white wine, oil and crushed red pepper. Just heat until sugar is melted. Toss with chicken, pasta and vegetables. Serve at room temperature or cold.
