Seafood soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 4 c
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- medium onion - 1/2 item
- cloves garlic - 2 item
- salt to taste - 1 item
- mace - 1/2 tsp
- imitation crab meat - 16 oz
How to make seafood soup:
Saute onion and garlic. Remove from saucepan. Add margarine and flour to make a pale roux. Slowly whisk in milk. Add onion mixture, crab meat and remaining seasonings. Cook over low heat 15 to 20 minutes to blend flavors. Makes 4 to 6 servings. Reheats well. Can be frozen. Can be made with skim milk.
