Seafood gumbo
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 4 Tbsp
- water - 2 c
- dry mustard - 1 item
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- chicken bouillon cubes - 2 item
- celery, chopped - 1 c
- cans tomatoes - 2 lb
- bay leaves - 2 item
- red pepper - 1 item
- can crab meat - 1 1/2
- large green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- bacon drippings - 4 Tbsp
- gumbo file - 1 tsp
- clean shrimp - 3 lb
- raw oysters - 1 c
- can cut okra - 1 1/2
How to make seafood gumbo:
Combine all ingredients, except seafood. Cook slowly for 1 1/2 hours. Add seafood. Cook slowly until done. May eat over rice. Serves 8 to 10.Recipe categories: One Dish meal, Gumbo, Stew.
