Seafood gumbo
Ingredients/Components
- parsley flakes - 1/2 tsp
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- tomato paste - 1 item
- onions, chopped - 1 item
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- cloves garlic, chopped - 2 item
- celery, chopped - 1 item
- large bay leaves - 2 item
- large can crab meat - 1 item
- shrimp per person - 1/2 lb
- can okra - 1 item
- cayenne pepper dash - 1 item
- flour browned - 1 item
How to make seafood gumbo:
Boil shrimp (shelled and deveined) until they turn pink (with crab boil) with water well over shrimp. Brown flour until it is almost burned. Add all seasonings to flour. Then by teaspoon, put seasoning and flour in shrimp water with shrimp (remove crab boil bag). Stir constantly so it won't lump.Recipe categories: One Dish meal, Gumbo, Stew.
