Ingredients/Components
- stick butter - 1 item
- whipping cream - 2 pts
- stalk celery - 1 item
- onion - 1 med
- shrimp - 2 lbs
- bay scallops - 2 lbs
- fresh corn - 1 lb
- tabasco sauce - 1 item
- seafood magic - 1 item
- garlic pepper seasoning - 1 item
How to make seafood chowder:
Peel shrimp; keep peelings to make stock. Add water, whole onion, whole stalk of celery, and simmer for 1/2 hour. Strain broth. Puree corn and whipping cream; add to broth. Then add butter, seasonings & simmer. Add seafood & continue cooking for 5 minutes or until shrimp is pink.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Main dish, Chowders.
