Ingredients/Components

  • chicken broth - 2 c
  • onion, chopped - 1 med
  • sliced mushrooms - 1 c
  • marjoram - 1/2 tsp
  • Bay leaf - 1 item
  • large carrot, sliced - 1 item
  • can Italian tomato sauce - 1 15
  • cove garlic, crushed - 1 item
  • Halibut or another firm white fish - 12 oz
  • Shrimp/prawns - 8 oz
  • large tomatoes chopped - 2 item

How to make seafood chowder:

In a large pot mix together chicken broth, mushrooms, carrot, onion, garlic, marjoram and Bay leaf. Bring to a boil, and boil for 2 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and simmer until cooked. Garnish with parsley and grated lemon peel if desired.
