Seafoam candy
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- brown sugar
- water - 3/4 c
- egg whites, beaten stiff - 2 item
- white sugar
How to make seafoam candy:
Cook sugars, water and salt, stirring frequently, over medium heat until mixture will spin a good thread. Pour syrup over beaten egg whites. Continue beating constantly. Add vanilla. When stiff enough, drop by spoon onto waxed paper. Makes 36 medium pieces.Recipe categories: Desserts, < 60 mins, Candy.
