• flour 1 Kings 4:22 - 2 c
• eggs Isaiah 10:14 - 3 item
• butter Judges 5:25 - 1/2 c
• baking powder Luke 13:21 - 2 tsp
• water Genesis 24:11 - 1/2 c
• honey Proverbs 24:13 - 1 Tbsp
• cinnamon 1 Kings 10:10 - 1 tsp
• cloves 1 Kings 10:10 - 1/2 tsp
• mace 1 Kings 10:10 - 1/2 tsp

How to make scripture cake:

Blend butter, sugar, spices and salt. Beat egg yolks and add to butter mixture. Sift in baking powder and flour, then add water and honey. Put fruit and nuts through food chopper and flour well. Follow Solomon's advice for making good boys (first clause of Proverbs 23:14). Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake for 1 hour in a 375° oven.
