  • Judges 4:19 milk - 1/2 c
  • Judges 5:25 butter - 1 c
  • Nahum 3:12 figs - 2 c
  • 1 Samuel 14:25 honey - 2 Tbsp
  • 1 Kings 4:22 flour
  • Jeremiah 17:11 eggs - 6 item
  • Samuel 30:12 raisins - 2 c
  • pinch Leviticus 2:13 salt - 1 item
  • seasonings from 2 Chronicles 9:9 spices
  • Numbers 30:12 almonds - 2 c

How to make scripture cake:

Cream together butter and sugar; add eggs one at a time. Beat after each addition. Add honey, spices and salt and blend well. Mix fruits and nuts with 1 cup flour. Add remaining flour alternately with milk to batter. Add fruits and nuts. Bake in greased and floured loaf pan at 325° for about 50 minutes. When it tests done, cool on a cooling rack. Slices best after cooling for a few hours.
