Ingredients/Components

• butter Judges 5:25 - 1/2 c
• sugar Jeremiah 6:20
• eggs Isaiah 10:14 - 3 item
• flour 1 Kings 4:22 - 2 c
• baking powder Luke 13:21 - 2 tsp
• spices: cinnamon, mace and cloves 1 Kings 10:10
• salt Leviticus 2:13 - 1/2 tsp
• water Genesis 1:6 - 1/2 c
• honey Proverbs 24:12 - 1 Tbsp
• figs and 1 c - 1 c
• almonds Genesis 43:11 - 1/2 c

How to make scripture cake:

Blend together butter, sugar, spices and salt. Beat egg yolks and add to butter and sugar mix. Sift in baking powder and flour, then add water and honey. Put nuts and fruit through food chopper. Add more flour, if needed. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake for 1 hour in 375° oven.
