Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 6 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1/4 c
- coconut - 1 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- nuts - 1 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- Add to flour and sugar, the salt, soda and buttermilk
How to make scotch chocolate cake:
Bring butter, cocoa, oil and water to a boil. Add to flour and sugar, the salt, soda and buttermilk. Add hot mixture to this mixture. Bake 25 minutes at 375°. Have frosting made when cake comes out of the oven. Pour over hot cake.Scotch Chocolate Frosting:1 stick butter4 Tbsp. cocoa6 tsp. milk1 box powdered sugar1 c. nuts1 c. coconut1 tsp. vanilla Bring to a boil the butter, cocoa and milk.
