Scotch chocolate cake



  • sugar - 2 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 6 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • water - 1/4 c
  • coconut - 1 c
  • oil - 1/2 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • cocoa - 4 Tbsp
  • buttermilk - 1/2 c
  • nuts - 1 c
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • box powdered sugar - 1 item
  • Add to flour and sugar, the salt, soda and buttermilk

How to make scotch chocolate cake:

Bring butter, cocoa, oil and water to a boil. Add to flour and sugar, the salt, soda and buttermilk. Add hot mixture to this mixture. Bake 25 minutes at 375°. Have frosting made when cake comes out of the oven. Pour over hot cake.Scotch Chocolate Frosting:1 stick butter4 Tbsp. cocoa6 tsp. milk1 box powdered sugar1 c. nuts1 c. coconut1 tsp. vanilla Bring to a boil the butter, cocoa and milk. Remove from heat. Add powdered sugar, nuts, coconut and vanilla. Beat until well blended. Pour over hot cake.
