- salt - 1 tsp
- butter or margarine, melted - 3 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- bread crumbs - 3 c
- canned tomatoes - 1 qt
How to make scalloped tomatoes:
Preheat oven to 325°. Mix tomatoes, salt and pepper; pour into a greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Pour melted butter over the bread crumbs; sprinkle bread crumbs on top of tomatoes. Bake for 30 minutes at 325°.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Kosher.
