  • salt - 1 tsp
  • butter or margarine, melted - 3 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • bread crumbs - 3 c
  • canned tomatoes - 1 qt

How to make scalloped tomatoes:

Preheat oven to 325°. Mix tomatoes, salt and pepper; pour into a greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Pour melted butter over the bread crumbs; sprinkle bread crumbs on top of tomatoes. Bake for 30 minutes at 325°.
