Scalloped tomato casserole



  • sugar
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • melted butter - 1 tsp
  • carton sour cream - 1 oz
  • chopped onions - 1 c
  • seasoned croutons
  • peeled, chopped tomatoes
  • cheese flavor cracker crumbs - 1/2 c

How to make scalloped tomato casserole:

Layer half each of tomatoes, onions, cracker crumbs, sugar and salt in a 1 1/2-quart casserole. Repeat with remaining half. Bake at 325° for 20 minutes. Spread sour cream on top; sprinkle croutons on sour cream. Spoon melted butter on top of croutons. Bake an additional 10 minutes. Yields 6 servings.
