Scalloped potatoes
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- skim milk - 1 c
- whole wheat flour - 1 Tbsp
- bread crumbs - 2 Tbsp
- thyme - 1 tsp
- large onion, sliced thin - 1 item
- large potatoes, sliced thin - 2 item
How to make scalloped potatoes:
Saute onions in butter. Add potatoes and mix. Add lemon juice, thyme and salt. Oil baking dish, put half of mixture in dish and sprinkle with flour. Add rest of mixture. Pour in skim milk and sprinkle with bread crumbs. Bake at 325° for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Low protein, Potato, Vegetables.
