Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 3 Tbsp
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- flour - 1/4 c
- paprika - 1 item
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chopped onion - 3/4 c
- can chicken broth - 1 oz
- mayo - 1/4 c
- large potatoes, peeled and sliced thin - 5 item
How to make scalloped potatoes:
In 1 1/2-quart casserole, layer potatoes and onion. Melt butter or margarine; stir in flour and cook until foamy. Gradually stir in chicken broth and mayo. Cook until sauce bubbles and thickens. Season and pour over potatoes. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 350° for 1 1/4 hours.Recipe categories: Low protein, Potato, Vegetables.
