Scalloped potatoes
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- margarine - 3 Tbsp
- paprika - 1 item
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- minced onion - 2 Tbsp
- to 5 potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced - 3 item
How to make scalloped potatoes:
Melt margarine in a small pan or in microwave. Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Gradually stir in milk. Continue cooking on stove or in microwave until thickened and smooth, about 8 to 10 minutes.In greased 2-quart casserole, layer 1/2 potatoes, onion and sauce; repeat layers. Sprinkle paprika over top. Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or microwave on High for 17 to 20 minutes, until done.
