Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 2 c
  • salt
  • flour - 1/4 c
  • butter, melted - 1 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • parsley flakes - 1 Tbsp
  • bread crumbs - 1/4 c
  • thinly sliced onions - 1 c
  • thinly sliced peeled potatoes - 4 c

How to make scalloped potatoes:

Toss first 6 ingredients together until potatoes are coated. Put in greased, shallow 2-quart baking dish. Scald milk and pour over potatoes. Cover with foil and bake at 350° for 1 hour. Mix crumbs and butter. Remove foil and sprinkle potatoes with crumb mixture. Bake 30 minutes longer.
