Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1/3 c
  • stick butter - 1/2 item
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • cans cream of chicken soup - 2 item
  • to 10 medium potatoes - 7 item
  • block Velveeta cheese, chopped into small chunks - 1/3 c

How to make scalloped potatoes:

Peel potatoes and slice into thin pieces. Cook potatoes until semi-tender. Mix milk, onions and soup in a bowl. Layer potatoes, soup mixture, cheese and butter in a 2-quart casserole dish.

Make cheese the last layer on top. Bake at 20 to 25 minutes at 375°.
