Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- marjoram - 1/2 Tbsp
- cup water - 1/2 item
- cup grated cheddar cheese - 3/4 item
- cup whipping cream - 1-1/2 item
- cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated if possible - 1/2 item
- large baking potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced - 4 item
How to make scalloped potatoes:
Combine Parmesan cheese and seasonings and set aside. Layer 1/3 of the potatoes in casserole and top with half of the seasoning. Repeat process ending with potatoes. Combine whipping cream and water. Pour over potatoes. Top with cheddar cheese. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1-1/2 hours. Uncover and bake 30 min. more.Recipe categories: Low protein, Potato, Vegetables.
