Ingredients/Components
- white sugar - 1 c
- eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
- stick butter or margarine, softened - 1 item
- cinnamon optional - 1/2 tsp
- slices white bread, broken up small - 4 item
- pineapple tidbits with juice * - 1 c
How to make scalloped pineapple:
Preheat oven to 315°. Use glass pans. These amounts are for an 8 x 8-inch pan. Double for a 13 x 9-inch glass pan. Bake at 315° around 1 hour or a little less, will brown some.Serve in squares (warm or cold). Good with a little whipped cream.
* I have substituted fruit cocktail for the pineapple.
