Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • melted butter - 1/4 c
  • cream - 2 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1/4 tsp
  • sherry - 3 Tbsp
  • oyster liquid - 1/4 c
  • toasted croutons - 2 c
  • drained oysters - 3 doz

How to make scalloped oysters:

Combine oyster liquid, butter, salt, pepper, cream and sherry.

In a buttered casserole, alternately place layers of croutons, oysters, croutons, oysters, croutons. Pour oyster liquid mixture over layers. Bake 30 minutes at 425°.
