Ingredients/Components
- can whole kernel corn, drained - 1 oz
- onion, chopped fine - 1/4 c
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- all-purpose flour - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- paprika - 1/2 tsp
- dry mustard - 1/4 tsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- milk - 3/4 c
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- cracker crumbs Ritz - 1/3 c
- margarine, melted - 1 Tbsp
- grated sharp Cheddar cheese - 1/2 c
How to make scalloped corn casserole:
Cook and stir onion in 2 tablespoons margarine in 1-quart saucepan until onion is tender. Remove from heat. Stir in flour, salt, paprika, mustard and pepper. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture is bubbly. Remove from heat. GraduallyRecipe categories: Side dish, Corn, Casseroles.
