Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- butter, melted - 1 Tbsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- onion, finely chopped - 1/4 c
- can cream-style corn - 1 oz
- pimiento, chopped - 3 Tbsp
- crushed saltines - 1 c
How to make scalloped corn:
Combine egg, milk, 2/3 cracker crumbs, salt and pepper. Stir in corn, onion and pimiento; mix well. Turn into 1-quart casserole. Toss melted butter with remaining 1/3 cup cracker crumbs; sprinkle atop corn mix. Bake at 350° for 60 to 75 minutes.Recipe categories: Low fat, Vegetables, Corn.
