Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- milk - 1 c
- melted margarine - 3 Tbsp
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- finely chopped onion - 1 Tbsp
- fresh or frozen corn - 4 c
- crushed saltines about 30 crackers, divided - 1 c
How to make scalloped corn:
In a large bowl, combine the corn, eggs, milk, 3/4 cup cracker crumbs, margarine, sugar, onion, salt and pepper. Transfer to a 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining cracker crumbs. Bake, uncovered, at 325° for 1 hour or until a knife inseRecipe categories: Low fat, Vegetables, Corn.
