Scalloped chicken casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk
- soft bread crumbs
- American cheese, cubed - 1/2 lb
- chopped, cooked chicken - 4 c
- hard-boiled eggs - 3 item
- cans cream of mushroom soup undiluted - 2 item
- box macaroni - 1 oz
- oleo, melted and divided - 1/2 c
How to make scalloped chicken casserole:
In large bowl, combine soup, milk and cheese. Add chicken, macaroni and eggs. Stir in 1/4 cup melted oleo. Put in greased 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight. Toss bread crumbs with remaining oleo. Sprinkle over casserole. Bake uncovered at 350° for 60 to 65 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
