Scalloped chicken
Ingredients/Components
- salt
- butter - 1/4 1/2
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped celery - 1 c
- sage - 1 Tbsp
- soft bread crumbs - 15 c
- chopped onions - 1 c
- cooked chicken or turkey - 2 3
- or 2 1/2 small cans broth
- eggs, beaten add to small amount broth - 2 item
How to make scalloped chicken:
Cook onions and celery slowly in butter. Combine all ingredients. Mix gently. Bake in greased baking dish or put in greased crock-pot on high for approximately 1/2 hour, then on low at least 3 hours.If you want regular dressing, leave out eggs and reduce amount of meat.
