Scalloped asparagus



  • milk - 2 c
  • flour - 3 Tbsp
  • margarine - 4 Tbsp
  • cracker crumbs - 1 item
  • hard-boiled eggs - 2 item
  • cans asparagus - 2 item

How to make scalloped asparagus:

Make white sauce from first three ingredients. Cook until thickened, about 5 minutes. Butter 8 x 12-inch casserole. Place a layer of cracker crumbs in bottom of casserole. Drain asparagus and place on crumbs. Slice eggs and place on asparagus. Repeat the two layers. Cover all with the white sauce. Top with buttered cracker crumbs. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes.
