Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
- butter or margarine
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 2 Tbsp
- whipped cream - 1 item
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- cloves - 1/4 tsp
- + 2 Tbsp - 1/4 c
- cans apple slices, drained * - 2 oz
How to make scalloped apples:
Spoon apples into a greased 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Combine next 6 ingredients; stir until blended. Sprinkle over apples. Bake in 400° preheated oven for 30 minutes. Serve with whipped cream.*Can use fresh apples, sliced thinly, if desired.
